Tara D. Scott, MD, FACOG, FAAFM, ABOIM, CNMP

Dr. Tara Scott graduated from Northeast Ohio University College of Medicine and completed her residency with Summa Health Systems at Akron City Hospital in Ohio. She recently “retired” from OB/GYN after almost 20 years to focus on functional and integrative medicine. She is an Associate Clinical Professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University, where she teaches residents and is involved in clinical research.
Dr. Scott is a certified menopause practitioner with the North American Menopause Society and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She first became involved with hormone and integrative medicine while practicing as an OB/GYN. Her empathy for patients experiencing hormone-related issues led her to become trained as an advanced fellow and certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. The evidence-based practices she employed helped many patients conquer chronic wellness issues. She then started Revitalize Medical Group, where she serves as the Chief Medical Officer. In 2016 she obtained an additional board certification in Integrative Medicine. Dr. Scott is passionate about educating the medical community on the advances in evidence-based hormone therapy. She lectures around the community to raise awareness about wellness and hormone balance. She recently got appointed as Medical Director for Summa Health in Akron, OH where she will develop and run an Integrative Medicine program.
Jerrica Sweetnich, ND, CNS*
Jerrica Sweetnich grew up in a suburb just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio, she received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois. She has also obtained her Certified Nutrition Specialist professional certification.
Jerrica focuses on finding the root cause of disease utilizing a personalized and holistic viewpoint. She is an expert in botanical medicine as well as nutritional therapies. She holds certifications in personalized hormone restoration therapy, IV nutritional therapy, the Prolon Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) and also is a Certified Nutrition Specialist®.
Her passion for health is displayed in her lifestyle and the care she offers. Being an athlete all her life Jerrica is an avid gym go-er, from spinning classes to kickboxing to lifting weights, she enjoys it all. Also having a deep love for the outdoors, when not in the office or gym you can find Jerrica with her husband, daughter and son somewhere in the woods!

Marguerite Weston, MD
Dr. Marguerite Weston graduated from Ohio Northern University with a degree in Molecular Biology. She continued her education at The Medical College of Ohio and completed a Family Medicine residency in Toledo Ohio with an additional fellowship in Sports Medicine. She first started her career with the University of Toledo. However, life moved her to the University of Oklahoma where she served as one of the Team Physicians for over 6 years. Her husband’s career moved them to the University of Wisconsin for a short time before coming back home to Ohio. In 2019 she obtained her certification in Functional Medicine from the Institute For Functional Medicine. For the last two years she has been named one of Columbus Monthly’s Top Doctors. She currently serves as one of the Team Physicians for Otterbein University.
Through the years as a team physician and Wellness Team director for The University of Oklahoma, Dr. Weston’s knowledge of nutrition has grown. She has always been active playing soccer through college (Go Polar Bears!) and continues to run and exercise. She loves combining her love of sport, nutrition and preventative medicine to help others feel their best. Being traditionally trained she is able to meet patients where they are in their health journey and create attainable goals and lifestyle changes. Whether it be decreasing medications, decreasing cardiac risk, reversing diabetes, balancing hormones, weight loss, increasing energy or just feeling more like the you you envision. Her goal is to walk alongside patients to help them become the healthiest version of themselves, being better each day with a mantra of progress not perfection.
